Ingredients
Sesame Rice
- 1 pack brown rice
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Lettuce Cups
- 1 baby cos lettuce
- ½ telegraph cucumber
- 1 carrot
- 1 pack Thai dressing
Thai Beef Laab
- 1 pack beef mince
- 1 pack garlic and ginger paste
- 1 pack lemongrass makrut lime paste
- 1 pack flavour booster
To Serve
- 1 pack peanuts

Cook rice Combine rice, 2¼ cups water, sesame oil and a pinch of salt in a medium pot and bring to the boil. Once boiling, cover with a lid and reduce to lowest heat to cook for 15 minutes. Turn off heat and steam, covered, for 8 more minutes. Do not lift lid during cooking.

Cook beef laab Heat a drizzle of oil in a large, non-stick fry-pan or wok on medium-high heat. Add beef, garlic and ginger paste, lemongrass makrut lime paste and a pinch of salt and cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring, until cooked and any liquid has evaporated. To spice up your meal add a pinch of chilli or cayenne pepper.

Finish beef laab Add ½ -1 pottle of flavour booster to pan with laab and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant. Remove from heat.

Serve lettuce leaves filled with rice, laab and vegetables. Sprinkle with peanuts.
