A Japanese favourite - and by the time you’re done with dinner it might be yours too! Sweet and salty morsels of precooked free farmed pork belly served with coconut rice and steamed greens. This super easy dinner will be on your table in only 15 minutes.
Ingredients
To Serve
- 1/2 pack crispy shallots
Pork
- 75g teriyaki sauce
- 300g pork belly, diced 2cm
Beans
- 50g baby spinach
- 3 Tbsp water
- 200g green beans
Rice
- 1 pack pre-cooked coconut rice
Steps

Heat a medium, dry-fry pan on medium-high heat. Pat pork dry, dice 2cm and add to pan. Stir fry for about 5 minutes, until hot. Remove from heat, add teriyaki sauce, stir and keep warm.

Place beans in a medium heat-proof bowl with water measure. Microwave on high for about 4 minutes, until tender and bright green. Remove from microwave, drain and toss through spinach. Keep warm.

Tear tops from rice and microwave on high for about 3 minutes, until hot.

Rice and beans topped with pork and sauce. Sprinkle over crispy shallots.
