Ingredients

Pork

  • 1 pack pork sirloin steaks
  • 1 pack nori salt

Yakisoba

  • 1 pack soba noodles
  • 1 bunch spring onions, sliced 3cm
  • 2 carrots, cut in half & thinly sliced
  • 1 pack mushrooms
  • 1 pack yakisoba sauce

To Serve

  • 1 pack sesame seeds
  • 4 Tbsp sesame mayo

Steps

  1. Before you start, bring a pot of hot salted tap water to the boil (with a lid). Preheat BBQ to medium-high (if using).
  2. Prep & cook pork. Heat a drizzle of oil in a fry-pan on medium-high heat. Pat pork dry and season with nori salt. Cook for about 4 minutes each side, until just cooked through. Set aside, cover and rest for a few minutes before slicing. Reserve pan.
  3. Cook noodles & prep veggies. Cook noodles in pot of boiling water for 2-3 minutes, until tender. Drain and return to pot with a drizzle of sesame oil to prevent sticking.
  4. Cook yakisoba. Return reserved pan to high heat with a drizzle of oil. Cook spring onions, carrots and mushrooms for about 4 minutes, until soft. Add cooked noodles and yakisoba sauce. Toss together and cook for about 1 minute, until noodles are coated. Alternatively, do this on BBQ hotplate.
  5. Serve yakisoba noodles topped with pork, sesame seeds and sesame mayo.
