Smoky Mexican Beef Chilli

Ingredients

Mexican Beef

  • 1 Mexican beef chilli
  • 1 pack garlic chilli blend

Rice

  • 1 1/2 cups jasmine rice
  • 2 1/4 cups boiling water

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Bring a kettle to the boil.
  2. Cook Mexican beef. Remove plastic cover from beef. Place on an oven tray and cook for 30-40 minutes, or until heated through.
  3. Cook rice. Place rice, boiling water and a pinch of salt in a medium pot and bring to the boil with a lid on. Reduce to lowest heat to cook for 12 minutes. Turn off heat and steam, covered, for 5 more minutes. Do not lift lid during cooking.
  4. Serve rice topped with Mexican beef and a pinch of garlic chilli blend.
