Creamy Mushroom Chicken with Kumara Mash

Ingredients

Chicken

  • 1 pack creamy mushroom chicken

Mash

  • 800g kumara, diced
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 2 Tbsp milk

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  2. Cook chicken. Remove seal film completely, cover with foil, place on an oven tray and cook for 30-40 minutes, or until heated through. Remove from oven on tray. Alternatively, spoon meal into an oven dish, cover with foil and cook at 200°C for about 25-35 minutes, until heated through.
  3. Cook mash. Cook kumara in a pot of salted water, with the lid on, for about 25 minutes, until tender. Drain and return to pot with butter and milk and mash, until smooth. Season to taste.
  4. Serve creamy chicken on kumara mash.
