Chicken and Chorizo with Mash

Ingredients

Chicken

  • 1 chicken and chorizo
  • 125g sour cream

Mash

  • 800g potatoes
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 Tbsp butter

Steps

  1. Cook chicken Preheat oven to 180°C. Remove plastic cover from chicken and cover with foil. Place on an oven tray and cook for 30-40 minutes, or until heated through. Stir halfway to ensure even cooking. Alternatively, spoon meal into a baking or casserole dish and cook at 200ºC for about 25 minutes, until heated through.
  2. Cook mash Peel and dice potatoes and cook in a pot of salted water, with the lid on, for about 25 minutes until tender. Drain and return to pot with milk and butter and mash until smooth. Season to taste.
  3. Serve mash topped with chicken and chorizo and sour cream.
