As My Food Bag’s Fresh Start Recipe Developer and a member of our 6 Week Restart Wellness Panel, we caught up with Amber and asked her a few questions on what she’s loving at the moment and how she owns her mornings!
Are you a morning person? How do you own your mornings?
I love the mornings and get my best work done early in the morning. I like to start my mornings slow so I set my alarm early and make sure there is enough time for a cup of tea in bed before getting ready for the day. On the bus on the way to work I pop my headphones on and do a calm meditation on my calm app. I shut the world out for 10 minutes and get to work ready to take on the day! I also love that it’s multi tasking haha!
What are you loving at the moment?
I’m OBSESSED with making pasta at the moment. Delicious fresh pasta MMMM!
What are you eating for breaky at the moment?
Honestly I’m such a peanut butter on toast followed by a flat white kind of person.
How do you practice mindfulness?
As above I do a calm meditation daily (highly recommend the app!) Being a lover of food, and more importantly, eating, I love to mindfully eat my food and make sure I’m getting every bit of enjoyment possible out of it!
