Petrifying Piggies in a Blanket, Serves 4

Why didn't the skeleton like Halloween treats? He didn't have the stomach for it! Simple and tasty, we developed these petrifying piggies in a blanket, to resemble mummies, using Harmony's porkies sausages and flaky puff pastry. They'll make a perfect addition to your Halloween spread.

Ingredients

Piggies in a Blanket

  • 1 pack flaky puff pastry
  • 1 pack porkies sausages

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 200°C. Line an oven tray with baking paper.
  • Unroll pastry dough and cut into 0.5cm strips. Wrap each sausage in 1-2 pastry strips to create a mummy look, leaving a small gap for the eyes at the top.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, until golden and sausages are cooked through. Use some mayo or mustard to dot little eyes onto the mummies.
  • Plate up with tomato sauce for dipping.
