Low Carb Porridge

Low Carb Porridge Kit, Serves 4

Some days we all fancy a steaming hot bowl of porridge. Our low carb porridge is oat-free, making it low in carbs (compared to regular porridge) and still packed with nutrients thanks to the linseeds, which are a source of dietary fibre and theomega-3 fatty acid alpha-linolenic acid (ALA).

Ingredients

Porridge

  • 1 pack ceres LSA
  • 3 cups milk ^
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon ^

Toppings

  • 400 g Greek yoghurt
  • 30 g freeze-dried raspberries
  • 1 pack cacao nibs

Pantry Staples ^

    Instructions

    • To make one serving, place 50g LSA, 3/4 cup milk and 1/2 tsp of cinnamon in a small pot and heat on medium-high, stirring continuously for 2-4 minutes until thick, like porridge.
    • Serve porridge with yoghurt, crushed raspberries and a sprinkle of cacao nibs
