Ingredients

Rice Pudding

  • 1 pack rice pudding mix
  • ¾ pack cream
  • 650 ml milk ^
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract ^

Caramel Sauce

  • 1 pack brown sugar
  • 100 g butter ^
  • ¼ pack cream
  • 2 bananas
  • 1 pack chopped walnuts

    Instructions

    • Preheat oven to 150°C bake.
    • In a medium baking dish (about 25x25cm) combine rice pudding mix, first measure of cream, milk and vanilla. Bake for 80-90 minutes, until thick and creamy. Do not stir while baking. Rest for 5 minutes.
    • While pudding rests, make caramel sauce. Place brown sugar, butter and remaining cream in a frypan on low heat and cook for 2 minutes. Slice bananas in half lengthways and add to pan, along with walnuts, tossing to coat.
    • Pour bananas, walnuts and caramel on top of rice pudding and serve.
