Preheat oven to 220°C. Line an oven tray with baking paper and place a wire rack on top of tray.
Pat chicken dry and season with salt and pepper.
Arrange wings on top of wire rack, leaving space between the pieces. Bake for about 20 minutes, or until starting to colour nicely. Reduce oven temperature to 150°C and cook for a further 15 minutes. Once cooked, allow to rest for 5 minutes.
Once chicken is cooked, toss in a bowl with BBQ sauce, until evenly coated.
Place wings on a platter with smoked garlic aioli for dipping.
