Despite the autumn weather, you can get a little tropical using frozen mango and coconut thread. Frozen mango can be found in the supermarket next to the frozen berries. It is great to keep a stash of frozen fruit on hand for smoothies, especially if you have a few options to change it up and keep it exciting!
Serves 1
Ingredients
½ cup frozen peeled mango
½ frozen, peeled, ripe banana
Zest of 1 orange
2 tablespoons low fat natural yoghurt (or use your favourite dairy-free yoghurt)
2 tablespoons LSA
2 tablespoons coconut thread
1 Medjool date, seed removed (optional)
¾ cup water
4 ice cubes
Method
1. Place all ingredients in a blender or smoothie maker and blend until smooth.
To serve, pour smoothie into a glass and enjoy immediately.
