Onion bhaji is a traditional Indian starter or snack, originating in the South Indian state of Karnataka. They are basically Indian-style onion fritters – thinly sliced onions that have been coated in a simple, spiced batter then fried until golden and crisp, sprinkled with a little bit of salt and then dipped in sweet chilli aioli for the perfect combination of salty, sweet and spicy!
