Glazed Honey Bun Bundt Cake
Ingredients
Cake
- 150 g butter ^ melted
- 1 ½ cups milk ^
- 2 eggs ^
- 2 tsp vanilla extract ^
- 1 pack cake mix
Streusel Mix
- 100 g butter ^ melted
- 1 pack streusel mix
Honey Glaze
- ¼ cup boiling water ^
- 80 g mānuka honey
- 250 g icing sugar
To Serve
- 1 pack chopped walnuts

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 170°C (not fan bake). Bring kettle to a boil.
- Melt first measure of butter. In a large bowl add melted butter, milk, eggs and vanilla. Mix well for 1 minute. Add cake mix and fold through until well combined. Set aside.
- Melt second measure of butter in a bowl. Stir through streusel mix, using a fork to combine into a crumble.
- Transfer cake to an oiled bundt tin and topped with streusel mix. Bake for 45-50 minutes, until a knife is inserted comes out clean. Transfer bundt cake to a cooling rack.
- In a bowl, add measure of boiling water, honey and icing sugar. Mix well until smooth and there are no lumps using a small whisk.
- While cake is still warm, cover the cake with the glaze, smoothing out with a spatula. Sprinkle over walnuts.
