Mozzarella Sticks Kit with Chilli Jam, Serves 4
Ingredients
Mozzarella Sticks
- ¼ cup flour ^
- 1 egg ^ whisked
- 2 Tbsp milk ^
- 1 pack Mediterranean panko breadcrumbs
- 250 g mozzarella cheese
- ¼ cup oil ^
To Serve
- 100 g tomato & chilli jam

Instructions
- Line a plate or tray with baking paper (that will fit in your freezer).
- Place flour in a bowl. Whisk egg and milk in a second bowl. Pour panko onto a plate or board.
- Cut mozzarella in half to create two thin slabs. Cut each slab into 6 sticks. Coat in flour, then egg, then panko and transfer to lined tray. Freeze for 1 hour; do not skip this step or you will end up with a pan of melty cheese!
- Once mozzarella has chilled, heat oil in a large pan on medium heat. Cook mozzarella sticks for about 1 minute each side, until golden. Transfer to a board and season well with salt.
- Plate up mozzarella sticks with chilli jam for dipping!
