Pulled Pork Sliders with Sweet Sting Honey, Makes 12
Ingredients
- 400 g free farmed pulled pork
- 1 pack slider buns
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 40 g Sweet Sting Honey
- 2 Tbsp mayonnaise
- 100 g grated mozzarella cheese,
- 30 g sliced jalapeños
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 220°C (or 200°C fan bake). Set aside a lined baking tray.
- Place pulled pork in a heatproof bowl and use a fork to separate pieces. Microwave for 2 minutes and use fork again to pull apart. Season with salt and pepper.
- Do not separate individual buns. Place hand flat on top of buns and use a bread knife to slice through all of the buns horizontally, taking care not to pull them apart.
- Place butter and honey in a small bowl and melt in the microwave for 30 second bursts.
- Place bottom buns on lined baking tray and spread with mayonnaise. Top with an even layer of pork, cheese, jalapeños, half of butter mixture and bun tops. Bake for about 6 minutes, until cheese is melted and buns are golden brown.
- Once sliders have cooked, brush buns with remaining butter mixture. Pull apart to serve.
