Servings 8

Ingredients

  • 1 brown onion, diced
  • 250 g Colby cheese, grated
  • 1 can reduced cream
  • 1 pack onion soup dip
  • 1 pack flaky puff pastry

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 210°C. Line an oven tray with baking paper.
  • Dice onion and grate cheese. In a large bowl, combine onion, cheese, reduced cream, and onion soup dip mix. Stir until well combined.
  • Place pastry onto a piece of baking paper. Spread with cheese mixture, leaving a 2cm border on the two long edges.
  • With the long end facing you, roll up pastry like you're making cinnamon rolls. Roll as tight as you can, then cut the roll in half, then in half again and again, making 8 pieces.
  • Lay the scrolls flat and brush the edges with milk. Transfer to a baking tray and bake for 15-18 minutes, until golden and puffed.
