Transform leftover tortillas into quick ‘n’ easy corn chips with homemade dips for an anytime snack.
Need to whip up some tasty snacks in a flash? We’re here to help! All you need is some leftover tortillas (like the ones that are free with MADE orders this February!) to make corn chips and a few simple ingredients to make some incredibly delicious homemade dips. Easy!
Make your own corn chips
Cut tortillas into triangles and brush spray with olive oil. Place on a lined oven tray and bake at 200°C for about 3 minutes each side, until golden. Serve with dips – see our delish recipes below for some inspiration.
Terrific Tzatziki
1 cup Greek yoghurt
1/2 telegraph cucumber, grated
1 tsp garlic powder
1 Tbsp onion flakes
1 tsp dried dill
1/2 lemon, zested & juiced
Mix all ingredients together and season to taste with salt and pepper.
DIY Kiwi Onion Dip
1 x 250g can reduced cream
1 Tbsp onion powder
1 Tbsp onion flakes
2 tsp cornflour
1 tsp celery salt
1/2 tsp yellow mustard powder
Mix all ingredients together and season to taste with salt.
Creamy Ranch Dip
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/2 tsp dried chives
1/2 tsp dried parsley
1/2 tsp dry dill
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
Mix all ingredients together and season to taste with salt and pepper.
