This rich velvety chocolate avocado mousse is sure to satisfy that after-dinner sweet tooth, or the 3pm slump! It’s the perfect decadent treat. Add a touch of mixed spice or cinnamon for even more depth of flavour!
Chocolate Avocado Mousse
Ingredients
- ¾ avocado, roughly diced
- 1 Tbsp cacao or cocoa powder
- ¼ cup milk of your choice
- 1 Tbsp maple syrup
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
To serve
- 2-3 tsp coconut chips
Instructions
- Add all mousse ingredients and a pinch of salt to a blender and blend for 1–2 minutes, until thick and creamy.
- Place in fridge to chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
- To serve, spoon into bowls and top with coconut.
