This Perky Nana Smoothie combines cocoa and banana for a deliciously creamy treat. It contains a secret ingredient — cauliflower (what can’t it do?!) Cauliflower makes your smoothie thick and creamy, but can’t be tasted and adds a nutritional hit with few calories.
Serves 1
Ingredients
Frozen Cauli
1 head cauliflower, diced 1–2cm
Smoothie
1 cup diced, frozen (pre-steamed) cauliflower
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
½ cup water
½ frozen banana, peeled
2 tsp cacao or cocoa powder
2 Tbsp raw cashew nuts
1 tsp honey or 1 medjool date
